You know it's going to be a great day when a digger rolls into your school playground!

We recently had the pleasure of visiting St. John’s Primary School in Swatragh to chat with the children about the exciting construction work happening in their nearby town, Maghera. From site safety and engineering roles to how public realm projects come to life, we explored the many aspects of construction in a fun and engaging way.

The highlight of the day? Vincent and the CivCo digger! There’s no doubt that both stole the show, bringing smiles and excitement to the playground. The children were full of curiosity, asking fantastic questions and showing a real enthusiasm for learning about the world of construction.

A huge thank you to the staff and students of St. John’s Primary School for their warm welcome and enthusiasm. It was a fantastic experience for our team and we hope we’ve inspired some future builders, engineers and project managers!
