PROJECT BRIEF

The project aimed to establish a functional and efficient workspace by carrying out a comprehensive site redevelopment. This included the demolition of existing structures, site levelling, construction of retaining walls, installation of a modular prefabricated office building, and integration of essential utilities and security systems. The initiative focused on delivering a well-designed and secure environment that adhered to contractual specifications and regulatory standards.

PROJECT KEY POINTS

  • Demolition & Site Preparation: Removal of existing buildings, pipework and other identified structures. 
  • Structural Works: Construction of retaining walls and earthworks to achieve required site levels. 
  • Modular Office Installation: Prefabricated office building with associated services and foundations. 
  • Utility Connections: Installation of CCTV, water, sewage and power points.
  • Drainage Systems: Foul and surface water drainage, flow control devices and interceptor implementation. 
  • Concrete & Foundations: Casting of concrete yards and necessary structural foundations. 
  • Site Furnishings & Security: Installation of lighting columns, barriers, bollards, fencing, gates and road markings. 
  • Fire & Security Systems: Implementation of fire detection, alarm systems and an intruder alarm system. 
  • Landscaping & Final Works: Topographic survey, landscaping, and final site clean-up. 

PROJECT OUTCOME

Completed within a 30-week timeframe, this project successfully delivered a fully functional office space integrated with modern infrastructure and security features. The redevelopment has significantly improved the site’s usability, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace. The collaboration between the client, contractor and designer ensured a seamless execution, meeting all regulatory and contractual requirements while enhancing the overall site functionality.
