PROJECT BRIEF
The project focused on the redevelopment of an existing Waste Transfer and Recycling Centre to enhance functionality, safety and sustainability. Key tasks included the removal of abandoned pipework and dilapidated building foundations, as well as the repurposing of the existing depot into a designated parking area. Upgrades to the private laneway were carried out to ensure a durable and sufficient surface.
Significant structural modifications were implemented, such as the construction of retaining walls using modular block and reinforced concrete, alongside associated earthworks to achieve the required site levels.
The development also involved the installation of a Waste Transfer Station (WTS) storage portal frame building, featuring internal storage bays and the construction of a modular prefabricated office building.
